No Microsoft store near me, but it is streaming live on the Xbox 360 Live event viewer app. If you have it downloaded. If the feed keeps from falling apart. If the 360 does not red ring. Fingers crossed and fire extinguisher at the ready.
I am waiting for 1080p screen micro sd slot and a quad core processor before I jump on to the next phone. my HTC titan might last another 6 months. fingers crossed.
I think it would be a great device if it were cheap enough. I would still want the full size Xbox for my living room and maybe use the mini in another room . My concern is that I would want to use the same Xbox Live account on both machines and that is not possible today. I would own multiple machines if I could have one account that connected them all without the hassle involved as it is now. maybe Microsoft could come up with a sort of Xbox Live account that could exist on more than one machine at a time if the machines are all connected in the same household.
The closest thing I could find is the Intel WIDI technology_ if a receiver could be built into a portable display_. But with that it only transmits the video and audio signal to the receiver and I am talking about a 2 way connection. Maybe the touch inputs could be sent back to the PC over Bluetooth or some other signal. I admit I don’t know how it could be done with the technology available today or even in the future for that matter. That being said, why not just send the audio and video to the device over a low power encrypted digital video TV signal? Then the device would need a modified TV tuner for reception and send the input signals over WIFI. My ignorance about TV broadcasting aside, who would want to buy a device like this?
