Interesting! I hope that’ll be on the Blu-ray.

I’m going to have a lot of sleepless nights until 6 comes out on Blu-ray so that I can do a frame-by-frame comparison of the Han crash scene between 6 and Tokyo Drift.

And obviously Dom and Lucas will strike up a kinship at the conclusion of that race. In fact I bet 7 opens with that race in the parking garage in Tokyo.

Man. The more I think about it, Lucas WILL be in 7. The only explanation for Dom being in Japan at the end of Tokyo Drift is that he’s responding to Statham’s character’s call.

Okay, just finished rewatching Tokyo Drift. Unfortunately, they rewrote history a little bit in 6 — I was hoping that the Statham scene was plausible, but it’s really not. Lucas runs right up to the car when it explodes… they’re would’ve been interaction between the two of them had Statham’s character existed (in spirit, anyway) in Tokyo Drift.
It’s close, though.

If Lucas is in 7, that would be pretty tight.

Agree. ALTHOUGH… in some ways it was just about the most realistic thing in the movie

Heck, they even have room for Fuentes if she comes back

Oh also Nilay… with Gisele and Han both dead that makes room for Statham in the good guy crew if he switches teams at some point

Oh something else I forgot to mention: FF6 finally gets the chronology PAST Tokyo Drift, which is important for a variety of reasons: newer model cars, aging of the actors, etc. etc.

Okay guys listen up.
1) I openly wept when Gisele fell off the car
2) Fucking STATHAM. Nilay stop being such a hater. It’s going to be amazing. Think back to the first Transporter or Crank, except Statham is a terrifying bad guy. Who maybe becomes good at some point, we’ll see.
3) Is Elena, like, an LA cop now or something? What was the deal with that?
4) Isn’t Hobbs in huge trouble for pulling a gun on a NATO general?
5) No Fuentes???? WTF
6) FAST 7 IS GOING TO BE OFF THE CHAIN

You’re not from most places where news is happening at any given moment.
Fact is, NYC’s apartment market is bizarre, unique, terrifying, and unlike anything else in the world — it’s a case study in messed-up economics. That makes this interesting regardless of where you live.
But be that as it may, if you’re not interested in a story, my preference would be that you simply move on, don’t read it, and don’t comment that you don’t care.
