For one, the Incredibles always look the same. That’s how they looked in the movie, and that’s how they look in promotional material. There’s no re-imagining going on in the image you posted. Two, they’re all ridiculously proportioned, except maybe Dash (and Jack-Jack). They’re caricatures of comic book heroes, whereas Merida was presented rather realistically in the movie (in contrast with other Brave characters). What people are complaining about in regard to Merida’s rescinded changes would be comparable to Disney giving Violet large breasts and a Botox job on her lips. It wouldn’t fit the characters as they were presented in the movie.
