They’re just doing it to protect advertisers. If it looks like Fox is trying to stop it, then the advertisers might be less inclined to leave.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Google is making no apps as a comeback for Microsoft’s attitude to them. Why should Google help MS get marketshare? Because good Google apps would get it extra users.

The iOS app does look slightly better.
Nicer fonts, prettier design choices.
Not to say the Android app is ugly. It’s amazing too compared to Twitter and Facebook.

I wouldn’t move to Windows Phone unless 8 is great. Windows Phone, after using a Pre 2, makes me feel empty. It just has so much missing, and also apps missing. It’s like webOS, but the actual core OS isn’t my cup of tea either.

I’d recommend iOS with the next iPhone or a Galaxy Nexus with Android. I’d personally switch to Android, but iOS feels more polished at times.

Please don’t come here if you think they are biased. Find a Microsoft-fan website. Because this website, generally, is really good at having an opinion, while also remaining objective. And if you don’t see that, maybe you’re biased.

It’s not that amusing. BitTorrent is software that they publicly say they want to be used for legal purposes. Even though they probably don’t care that it’s being used illegally, it’s still an open standard that they never had control over.

Seriously, Paul should stay off the internet forever. These features he’s making are amazing.
