“Many devices can barely run native games decently” well most do run them pretty good…

And when google won over oracle last year it was precisely because using apis without using the proprietary code in a “clean room implementation” is légal.

I don’t mind the journalists being sceptical but sometimes it’s a bit annoying

WebKit was built upon the KHTML project which was already open source. Secund WebKit is a fork. It is not an open standard at all but it use open standards just like chrome and blink( the exact same standards….). And it’s absolutely wrong that Google is leaning on proprietary tech. By the way I never heard of an apple exhalent of chromium. That’s a lot of thing to get wrong for very few lines of babble…
