definitely not the iphone 5 (or a real camera for that matter), but it gets the job done in even lght, especially closeups. weird how in pic 3 there’s so much noise in the sky, but i guess that’s cause it was an HDR shot. some of the digital artifacts lead me to believe that the software side could be better optimized.

airdroid has a great free find my phone feature they just added. allows remote lock and wipe.

you can get a galaxy nexus for under 200 or nexus 4. altho to be honest you can also just get her an iphone 4 for not much, that’s waht i did for my mom. all she wants to do is text, call, map, and take photos.

definitely check out UCCW (ultimate clock customizer widget). the widget itself doesn’t do much, but people build awesome things out of it, so you can tweak the hell out of the phone. i don’t get super into it, but it’s still reeeally cool. some examples of what you can do: http://mycolorscreen.com/
