You lose, you get nothing, good day sir. It’s perfectly easy to discover new Android apps. If nothing else, just look at the app roundups that AndroidPolice does on a near-weekly basis.

I saw the headline and instantly thought this would be an article about Apple products.

With all of the updates and changes I have witnessed to it since being a user upon it’s release in December 2011, it looks like it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. I use it every day when I am getting food in between classes etc., and they have certainly done some great work with it. Plus the logo looks nice, and the name is catchy and suits its purpose.

A news site…that forgets about a news app from one of the largest names in tech….is deplorable and amateur.

I’m certainly not one of the people that contributed to the low sales of Windows 8!
I bought it for my laptop for $40.
I bought it for my mom’s laptop for $40.
I bought it for my desktop for $40.
I bought the standalone OEM Windows 8 for a new desktop build for $70.
My brother bought an HP Envy 4-1115dx TouchSmart Ultrabook for only $550. (Black Friday)
And my dad bought a brand new HP Envy m4-1015dx with a quad-core 3rd gen i7 for $629. (Black Friday)
And then I helped several other people pick out new Windows 8 computers whilst shopping.
So far I haven’t had a single issue with Windows 8 other than difficulty getting to my college’s print station network. For me, it’s been a significant improvement over Windows 7, mostly with the boot times of course.
I always liked how pretty Aero was in Windows 7, but I like how the flat colors of Windows 8 are more similar to Google’s new design philosophy with Google Now and Cards etc.
Another reason for the low adoption rate of Windows 8 is simply ignorance. I see kids on my college campus all the time with plenty beefy enough Windows 7 computers, and when I ask them why they didn’t upgrade to Windows 8 for only $40, most of them respond that they didn’t know they could have. Also, many of them are too naive enough to realize that it’s really not as huge of a difference from Windows 7 as they are perceiving it to be.

Because the Ford logo looks absolutely hideous, “cheap”, generic, dull, unappealing, and downright ugly and unsexy enough as it is, even more so when it’s placed on something that has beautiful design or is a super car. It’s like “oh…wow..look at this super sexy car…I wonder who makes…OH. Gawd, WHY? GROSS.” No longer interested, lost my appetite for this damn car because it’s sporting that ugly Ford logo that is far from screaming quality.
