You’re assuming that Barnes & Noble will still be in (this) business in the fall. That may not be a good bet. With the influx of cash from Microsoft, I’m betting that their next devices—if they have any marketing, development and production dollars left—will probably fall into the Windows world, not Android.
B&N ponied up and paid Google for access to the Play store because these things are just sitting on shelves. Now with access to the play store, they probably are the best Kindle reader you can buy, just inching out the Transformer Infinity by merit of their reader-friendly bezel.
