The UK education system, was not long ago criticised by Google et al, because it doesn’t teach programming at school. This means we’re not turning out as many people wise in the ways of code as we used to. Which in turn might damage our ability to create the next generation of creative works. Raspberry Pi is about giving kids a nice cheap device on which they can learn to code. I can’t see how this is a bad thing. If people don’t like it fine, but for everyone that’s then able to try and build their dream I think it’s worth the exposure.
