It’s just another android phone like any other android phone … my galaxy s2 is just as usable as the nexus … there are no important differences other than android geeks comparing their version numbers.

We just found the customers Dell lost last quarter. Levovo does make a good laptop I have to say. Even their cheaper line is pretty decent quality.

The AMCs in Kansas City kick people who are on their phones doing anything, talk at the screen, and are making out … but only in the theaters in nice neighborhoods.

All this complaining about getting the newest android o/s is silly … it’s expensive for the carriers and you don’t gain anything from it … i have a Galaxy S2 on sprint with 2.3 … i don’t need ICS for anything I can think of … it’s not a better UI … it won’t make my phone faster … it will break some apps … if you don’t like being left out of the updates don’t buy an android phone. All i need is email, facebook, twitter, web, and messaging … i went with the galaxy s2 because of the big screen … not because of android … the S2 will last me fine until windows phone 8 arrives which is what i am waiting for. The mobile space is changing fast and whatever you buy is obsolete in 6 months … deal with and move on.

Screen size is irrelevant unless they update the o/s to have quick glance information like Android and Windows Phone have had since their inception. Widgets and live tiles speed up things so much while on the iphone you are constantly digging through a sea of icons. The iphone continues to sell with it’s pretty factor and Apple’s unending campaign of “if you don’t own an Apple product you are a loser” campaign.
I don’t know about anyone else but I like turning on the phone and seeing whats going on in “my world” without even launching an app unless i want details.

This is just plain stupid … Mozilla doesn’t have the coding skill so they file a complaint based on a 15 y/o case that doesn’t apply any more. Then again the EU has been handing out very backwards rulings as of late and the US court system isn’t educated enough in the technology space to be ruling on anything. Anyone else remember when Mozilla competed by making a compelling product? It’s been years. Firefox is nothing but bloatware these days.

Too little too late … the war was fought … facebook won and myspace lost … this company didn’t even exist to be in the battle. A thousand tech geeks that hate facebook aren’t going to be enough to sustain an open source network no matter how much the tech media creates fake fear around facebook for click bait.

Just wait for a Windows RT tablet and have a professionally implemented office/cloud solution. Android Tablet O/S is so hodge podged right now. I can’t tell if ICS made Honeycomb better or worse.

Another nice Android tablet with no ecosystem … google won’t even support its own tablets with apps … so no one else is … Windows 8 is going to erase google from the tablet space at the end of the year just because of built in office and skydrive.

Tin hatters are reading into this too much … kindles don’t sell enough to make Target much money … keep in mind the unit isn’t the only cost to Target … they have to pay someone to get them out of lock up for you too.

Woz has a point … i just had to switch to a new carrier due to the fact that T-mobile’s data service in Kansas City has stopped working where I live. I went with Sprint because they have good coverage here. I wanted Windows Phone but they don’t carry any gen 2 devices so I went with the Samsung Galaxy S2 … nice hardware but the Android O/S is a mess and it’s hard to dig through and find settings for things. Down the road if Sprint does get a Nokia Windows Phone I will be paying retail price to get it.
