Photostream came out with iCloud around the same (mid-late 2011) as Google+ anyway.

Yes google voice control existed before Siri. It came out May 2010 in Froyo 2.2.
However, iOS had Voice Control since June 2009, I could say “play songs by air” or “play more songs like this” or “call John” I just couldn’t ask if it was raining or “call my boss” etc.
anyway my old Nokias could do most of that voice stuff in 2007.

PC gets in the way. Drivers, updates, patches, hacked online experiences, malware, popups, games aren’t optimised for a 5 year old video card, etc.
Used to love PC gaming but no longer.
I’m still better in FPSs with a keyboard and mouse though. :)

No. Sony 1st party exclusives will not be made for Xbox until the Playstation brand is dead. Eg Nintendo still won’t make money by selling their games for the more powerful consoles and handhelds. Sony won’t put games by Naughty Dog (uncharted, last of us) , God of war, Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet etc on the Xbox. But most of the EA and other publisher games you can play on PC or console will be on both Xbox or PS probably.

He said it will be the Wii of the next gens, presumably meaning casual gaming mass adoption but inferior hardware, like the Wii.

Yep, stupid. Read the article, liked it, went on iTunes but I can’t buy it, only the soundtrack.
STUPID!
Guess I’ll be using the DNS mojo and firing up Netflix instead (also unavailable here)

Yep. I’ll buy the game when this happens. Till then, no.
Often I’ll travel and be in a remote area and feel like firing up a good single player game for awhile. It’s these situations where Sim City or Diablo 3 would be great. But I might be staying at relatives houses who not have e Internet, or very average Internet that doesn’t reach to a guest bedroom. Some places I go to on holidays don’t even have any form of mobile phone coverage, and no broadband either. Most homes there don’t have Internet. Australia is a big place, remote areas don’t have the 65Mbps download LTE I get in the city, they don’t have any Internet at all. So I don’t want to cut my options off.
More importantly, what happens when Diablo V comes out, or SimCity5, and they turn off the old DRM servers. You can no longer play a game you might have preferred more.
Eg I prefer the old Need For Speed Most Wanted, High Stakes, Porsche, etc to the current ones. If I couldn’t play them, that’d be horrible! Remember Need For Speed: Motor City Online? Can’t play that anymore, but I never bought it because I thought this might happen…

I LOVE games. I often will fire up an old PC and play something I loved back in 1999 or 2000. But always on drm server connections for single player games mean I can play these old games in the future. So I don’t want to play them now.
Imagine if you couldn’t watch movies from the 80s, only new releases, because the drm to authorise the movie playback was no longer available. Horrible.

I find it stupid that EA and Blizzard pull this stuff and put me off buying their games (I no longer do) when the titles are so damn expensive to begin with. On the other side of the coin, I waste plenty on AppStore purchases because a $.99 game or a $5.49 game can be played on my iPhone, iPad, my partners iPhone, the kids iPod touches etc. I buy stuff on steam (if it doesn’t have extra drm on top) and also on gog.com which is great. I stopping buying kindle books because many have drm device limits. I upgraded my ipad and I can’t view books I’ve bought because they were used on my old iPad. Stupid. What if it had been a warranty replacement?
Make drm/doing the right thing easier than piracy, and people will flock to it. Just look at the iTunes Store’s success.

Microsoft makes more money from Android than Google does, because it violates their patens. Google needs the advertising revenue, its their only significant form of income, which makes sense as they’re an advertising company.
