I love both cars (you’d have to be crazy not to), but the F40 is just drop-dead gorgeous. One of those timeless designs that will always look perfect. I respect the 959 for everything it can do, but it hasn’t aged nearly as well design-wise.
What I love most about these two cars though is that they were both designed to be the fastest in the world, but Porsche and Ferrari went down two completely different to reach that goal. The 959, as Chris said, was a technological tour-de-force, more advanced than the fastest cars of its era. The F40, on the other hand, was painfully simple, but damn was it light – and quick.
On every other carrier in the world, Nokia’s devices set the bar for industrial design and build quality. Verizon, of course, couldn’t have that, so they hit it with the ugly stick and plastered their name all over it. That cheap, glossy plastic. Ugh. I can’t wait for my contract to be up, I want to run from big red as fast as I can.
