I wonder what the landscape would look like if there were as many models of windows or apple phones as there are crappy android devices. The S4 and the Htc one are the only good android devices. Imo, wp needs instagram, a cc reader app like square and about 100,000 more fart apps to be considered the third true ecosystem.
I think what MS should do is keep all there properties, office,xbox and everything else exclusive to the WP8 ecosystem. I know this will make my ios and android friends angry, but I seem to remember the Xbox having a Halo game exclusivity and it seemed to work out pretty well for that division. Still release office for iMac but the touch version should be a windows exclusive.
I understand some peoples disdain towards change. I bet they voted for Romney and think Obamas a muslim and not born in America.
For me, the learning curve took about a week or less and now I would never go back. That being said, the apps, especially music, need to be greatly improved. I will say the in house apps are faster now but still, in regards to the music app, incomplete at best.
The music app IMO is MS biggest failure as far as windows 8 is concerned. IMO, I have used 8 on a touch and non touch pc and I don’t have any issues at all. I think some people really hate it and othersreally love it and others who love to hate ANYTHINGNEW. The latter are probably posting on this forum in between shifts at McDonald’s sitting in their underwear.
I think now that the wp8 kernel is their base we hopefully will start to see day and date. Now get Squareup and instagram and oh yea, candycrush. Hehe.
