“The arms in mw3 were beautiful at the time” Somehow I feel like this is catering to some weird fetish… specially because with the new engine they are able to “even render the dirt in the fingernails”. They are overselling it so hard. To be honest we are at a point were the improvement in graphics is really minimal.

Every time Nilay rants about IR blasters my mind goes to this engadget podcast where he starts telling a sad story about 58 min in.. “you don’t want your parents giving you more attention to you […] don’t be like me, don’t set up an IR blaster”

The zombieland pilot was bad, the acting wasn’t good, the special effects were bad, and the story felt flat, honestly there are enough b-zombie films already, we don’t need a series to be that.

A few years ago smartphones weren’t common, in the 90s we had a lot of really bad technologies from pagers to humongous cellphones, not everyone was receptive to those technologies, but they eventually improved and the good ones caught on and the bad ones died. I am not saying I know google glass will succeed, but I for one feel that is and interesting technology that is worth a shot.

I really doubt that, plenty of other space related films do fine overseas, from Star Wars to Armageddon. My guess would be on syndication of the tv show. If you have never watched the show it harder to care about the film.
