haha, thanks for arguing my point… i just think its funny that people can’t just ignore the images and gifs. its a part of technology culture, if you don’t like it then ignore it because it isn’t going anywhere

lol, its arguable that they can’t make a good browser anyways but only a troll would say that. i do prefer ie9 and chrome on my pc though and don’t see myself going back to mozilla any time soon.

even for gaming the 640m should keep most games including battlefield 3 averaging over 30fps. that may not be gaming rig material but its definitely gaming capable.

its actually not that simple, each laptop has a different power rating, my vaio aw power brick is much larger than most because my laptop has an 18.4 LCD and a discrete gpu. even if they all used the same connection in to the pc they would still have to make different size power bricks because each notebook uses different amounts of power.

Apple has the patent for the magsafe power adapter and won’t allow any other manufacturer to use it so yes it is “that hard” other than the mag safe connector though the vaio s series is definitely on par with mbp and for a windows user its a better fit.

I was about to say the same thing. This Sony design was discontinued for a while but was brought back because apple made the design popular but yes Sony had this design first

microsoft addressed this in a post on the building windows 8 post that esplains in detail how they approach the increasing screen resolutions even in smaller screens

this is just a small example of their early work and i’m sure as tech progresses they will make sure their products work properly so the retina display macbook air should work fine with windows 8

i don’t think that applies to the arm version (win rt) which is what Mozilla was complaining about but that’s what i don’t get because nobody has access to the desktop in win rt so why was this story even brought up in the podcast?

i understand your complaints but the fact that these con artists call themselves internet marketers is the problem here and not the article we are commenting on.

why is this story about no desktop browser in win rt even a story? from what i understand no third party will have access to the desktop in win rt. they will still have access in windows 8 for pc and x86 based tablets just not arm tablets.

then why say internet marketer? why seclude yourself to this segment of the market and why not just tell her you are a marketer?

I find it amusing that you guys are getting upset about TheVerge using the term “Internet Marketing” as an umbrella term.
There is a big difference between people who are providing a legitimate service to businesses to help them market their products and get traffic and these scam artists. If you are getting upset about this article then maybe it hits home and your business practices need to be looked at.
If you are a reputable marketer providing a service to businesses then you shouldn’t be upset. maybe someone’s grandma doesn’t know the difference but a legitimate business that would pay for these services would.
I find it sad that you guys are whole heartedly taking offence to this when if you are legitimate then your customers will know the difference between the service you provide and these scam artists. If someone doesn’t know the difference between the two then you shouldn’t be providing your service to them as they aren’t a business that could use these services.

WOW, So many accounts were made on theverge just to rebut this article.
I don’t think a single account in the comments of this post saying positive things about these guys is from an actual reader who had an account and was part of the community before this article.

I can’t speak for everyone else but I can say that my time with the beta left me loving every part of the game that I got to try out. Mind you I haven’t played the single player campaign yet. I also want to point out that I didn’t care for anything in Warhawk other than flying them and the only time I played that game was in flying only matches.
Starhawk is what you make of it. You shouldn’t go in to the game expecting to be able to win on your own, this is a teamwork heavy game in my opinion and unless you can communicate and play with people that work with you towards the goal you are going to lose. The one thing that was a failure in the beta was the lack of a tutorial. It’s a difficult game to learn without the help of others but once you understand how the mechanics work it’s an amazing experience, at least for me it was. being able to build your base while defending it all from the same view, I admit I was skeptical when I first heard about it but after I played it and got the hang of the controls I was amazed at how well the game mechanics were put together to give the player an experience that I haven’t seen elsewhere.
I’m not going to flame Arthur because I don’t know him and I can see how someone reviewing this game might miss the control scheme or have issues with it. I also understand that this may just not be for him. From my point of view this is one of the most original and well executed new IPs I have seen in a while. at least from the MP aspect from playing in the beta.

So this is different than the ITA purchase by Google and the Skype purchase by Microsoft? If either of them had removed those services from competitors then it would be anti competitive but this is OK because Chomp doesn’t have an overwhelming market share?
