not everyone uses facebook messenger. i see it used more on the desktop as a chat popup than on the phone. Whatsapp, Kik, Line reign supreme in the mobile world.
doesnt matter. I meet up with friends in Asia and automatically it’s Whatsapp. While we exchange numbers, I don’t even tell them I have Whatsapp and I get messages. Now it’s moving to Line.
Just because the US is lagging behind in this doesn’t mean the rest of the world embraces SMS and crap services as much.
you can screenshot and send fast enough on Whatsapp that it does’t even matter.
Screenshare is more of a video call thing. Kinda like Facetime. Facetime, Skype, etc never took off. If you look at what took off, it’s Whatsapp, Kik and messengers. Group chat trumps all.
Webcamming has been around forever, yet it hasn’t replaced how we communicate via email, texts, and messages. So while BBM has an advantage in screen share I can guarantee you it’s not going to take off that much.
