I have no clue about singapore’s warranty situation, but in most cases I would just get AppleCare Plus. In the USA, the old AppleCare isn’t available anymore, it’s been replaced with AppleCare+, which includes 2 accidental damage replacements. In the USA it’s 99 dollars, plus UP to 49 dollars in handling for each replacement, but they usually won’t charge for it, it’s the discretion of the genius. It INCLUDES water damage and so much else, it’s hard to pass up.

It’s because it’s a fresh install of an OS. If you partition your drive and install lion on it it will be just as fast if not faster because there’s no system extensions to worry about.

Take it to the Apple store, and tell them that you found it.
If you’re in the USA (can’t speak for other countries) if the serial # hasn’t been reported, the phone is yours.
They may or may not do a hard restore for you.
If the phone isn’t flagged as lost/stolen, I’d sell it as is and mention that you found it and include the genius bar receipt saying that the phone is now legally yours.
If you are a really good person, call the company (AT&T most likely) that owns the SIM in that phone – and say you found it. AT&T will ask for the sim number, and if it checks out that the person reported it – the phone is now yours by law, but AT&T isn’t under obligation to activate it. (OFC they will, money grabbing bastards…)
Use it or sell it. It’s a shame that someone lost their phone, I’d hate to be in that situation, but that’s why I have a sticker with my name, my address, and my phone phone # on the back of my iPhone.

360 has outsold the Wii, and the PS3 needs about 10 million more.
Wii sales have STOPPED. Under 1 million in a year? FAIL.

if it was 200 dollars, or even maybe 20 dollars I’d agree with you.
But it’s 2 freaking dollars. You’re computer is over 1 THOUSAND dollars. Seriously.
Dev’s need to get paid, too you know!
As a dev, I need to speak up. Programming takes a LONG time, and it’s hard work. And 2 dollars is NOTHING.

Games are more about shaders, reflections, shadows, smoke, fog, and physics these days, not polygons.
The wii can push polygons to about 2/3 of an Xbox 360 even though the 360 is over 5 times faster. Where the 360 wins is in those advanced 3D categories. And the new hardware that’s being rumored will beat that by 5-10 times.
Look at MLB 2k12 on wii and 360. 360 is way better.
this is the wii

this is the 360

and this, for shits and giggles, is the dreamcast 10 years prior.

Quite different overseas. In Japan the Saturn kicked ass until about 2 years in.
In America, Sega mis-marketed the Saturn, targeting older gamers who already had the 3DO.
The Saturn was the everyman’s 3DO… which didn’t work out well…
it sold 2 million by the end of the year (in america alone). 4 million worldwide. not great but not horrible

I’m not forgetting it.
Sega Master System was huge in Europe and South America. It beat the NES in both reigons.
The GameGear sold well and made Sega a profit. It just couldn’t compete with the Gameboy, but Nintendo had a bigger install base at the start.
The genesis was a gigantic success,
Sega CD and 32X sucked, but those were add-ons like the wii motion plus… not exactly but you get my point
The saturn died quickly, because they were beaten badly by sony.
DC was winning until the hype of the PS2 that wasn’t true. Most games looked better on the DC than on the PS2 until years later.
DC sold more than 18 million units in 2 years. Pretty impressive.
Sega had much better arcade ports, they didn’t need in-house characters.
Mario Wario, DK are the same franchise.
Kirby died years ago
and Zelda is kick-ass I’ll give you that.
But you’re arguing my point…. They’ll make software for PC/Mac iOS and others (Competitors…)
thanks!
