I think that the Verge Science, and the Verge Music are great ideas, but I think that it would involve the website being designed in such a way that it would not throw all these 3 subjects together, as it is hard to link them to each other.
Maybe some sort of filtering mechanism?
The Verge have stated for a while that they have been redesigning the website, and hopefully the expansion of discussion has been thought of.
