They can’t sell it. It’s licensed from APM.

Then again, our pants are always down.

I agree, but keep in mind Google doesn’t have a price point to hit.

Prepare to compromise build quality and performance. At that outside you’ll get a plastic Ultrabook with a ULV i5.

The whole slippery slope thing is a bit fallacious. If you want what The Verge shed when the editors left Engadget, read more Engadget.

They license primarily from APM’s library. Unfortunately there aren’t any affordable purchase options, as the music is not available for personal use. You could, in theory, make an account and download the tracks for free without ever licensing them, but that’s against their terms of service and a sure way to get your account and IP banned permanently.
But hey, if you’re into that, they have some good chillwave.

Verge is not a buying guide not does it have a goal to dictate your opinions. To many reviews and subjective comparisons water down substantive content.

Yep, Apple, Google, and Microsoft are automatically Chinese corporations because their contacted ODMs are located in China. Okay.

Hardly anyone uses .us in the manner .ca, .uk, .jp, and the like are used. It’s customary for US sites to use .com. It’s officially a US domain, and the default localization for almost all sites on .com is US. Example: amazon.com houses the US store, using US units. Other countries have stores on their TLDs.
Further points:
- Almost all Vox staffers are Americans living and working in the US.
- Conversions are easy enough that someone who has enough reading comprehension to understand Verge articles and features and discuss them and their home site coherently will be able to complete said conversions in their head or the Omnibar without requiring the assistance of a paid professional.

1920 isn’t enough horizontal space for side by side windows, save for maybe two of the following: web browser, text editor, image viewer, shell. Not much extensive productivity tools. Especially at such a small size.
