You can either pay per swipe at 2.75%, or $275/month flat rate with 0% per swipe, but only up to $250k a year.

I doubt you’ll see this stand at Starbucks. Square works at Starbucks only because they worked with them to put it in their POS software. I can’t see Starbucks ditching their current POS because of how huge the company is. This stand is targeted towards small business owners that want to move away from their clunky & expensive POS.
We have a client at the place I work that uses Square and they absolutely love it. They already have an iPad & a stand so I doubt they’ll get this, but it’s a very affordable way to start a business. For a fully loaded Square system with an iPad, stand, cash drawer, receipt printer, and barcode scanner you’re looking at just over a grand, which is nothing.
