If it makes you feel any better I have a RAZR HD and I am running unofficial CM10.1. If you absolutely need something now then get that, or the DNA which has unofficial CM10.1 as well. But I would just wait for something new. Verizon has an event on May 22nd and that could bring the One.
But I have survived with Google Drive my old HP G62 with Windows 8 and no Microsoft Office for my senior year of high school and freshman year of college, so I am not missing it. I’ll bring my old laptop to school with me if I absolutely need it, but I will be set.
Yeah customization makes Android pretty much unstoppable, but I think all of the benefits of Android revolve around one idea: it is my phone, not anyone else’s. Android has little control over which apps you want to use. I can use my own texting app, email app, phone app; I can replace pretty much most of the apps that come with the phone and use them by default! That is why Android is so much greater than iOS, BB10, or WP8 IMO.
