This is why I bought a 3g att original ipad. I just ended not going to VA to see my sister last year. I still may go this year to see my sister. I am still thinking of buying a 4g ipad 3rd gen for my birthday gift this year. I will end up giving the old ipad to my Dad to sell overseas. I heard the att ipad are factory unlocked so it would sell good over there.

I wish they would do this for all phones. Let people have a choice on skins like they use to do on some window mobile phones back in the day.

Actually there was the Lg Quantum on ATT. It did not sell that well and is hard to use on other carriers unlocked with full features.
