It has been tested that an xFAT 64GB MicroSDXC works and also a 500 GB USB drive (no power) can be successfully powered from the S3.

Clear polycarbonate can have tensile strength in the range of 10,000-10,500, flexural strength between 12,000 and 17,000, and compressive strength around 11,000; meanwhile, Kevlar fiber has a tensile strength around 12,500, flexural strength around 17,000, and compressive strength around 16,000. However, polycarbonate does rate slightly higher on the Rockwell Hardness scale at R118 compared to R115 for the Kevlar fiber, and polycarbonate is also a bit higher on IZOD impact resistance.
TL;DR: You’re not gaining much switching to Kevlar – except in your mind.

I disagree flux, Samsung using flowing lines instead of sharp edges in their design makes them the only company that is actually being original. Admittedly they didn’t quite pull it off this time – but at least they are trying to be more original than the other companies that follow the “sharp edged, rectangle box” design cues from the iPhone.

You wouldn’t notice unless you were holding a One X next to it. I suspect the blueness will decline as the phone ages because Samsung makes it extra blue to account for the way the blue pixel age faster than the other pixels.

Nexus One owner here. The Nexus range has shown me that manufacturers save their good stuff for their own branded phones and not the Google branded devices.
Look at the camera on the Galaxy Nexus as an example. It arrived between the SII and SIII and got a worse camera than both of them.
I see no point waiting for a Nexus device when you can put a custom ROM on S3 already and get the premium end of Samsung’s hardware at the same time.
Rooting devices is getting to be bad idea now though with Google Wallet and Google Play Movies chucking a sad when you have a rooted phone. So much for being the phone for modders.

customising also works both ways, Samsung S3 with Voodoo Sound customisation will make the audio significantly better than One X (without Voodoo the Wolfson DAC isn’t as well utilised).

I have watched GPS lock on a YouTube clip.
10 satellite lock at 10 metres accuracy – in under 2 seconds. Amazing.

Apparently the blue pixels fade faster over the life of the device so the colours will become warmer the longer you own the phone. So the S3 will age like a fine wine.

I like the looks, they were a bit jarring when i first saw them because not many phones look like that. Now I see it more in reviews and general use the looks are really growing on me. I think it’ll be much nicer in the hand with the curves. Apparently it is nicer in the hand than the HTC One X because of the curvature.

As an intelligent human being you would probably have your digital media available for international, digital download/distribution for a reasonable cost with no release delays or region specificity – as such your IP rights would be respected by the majority.

I could care less about voice assisted crapplications. I hated Siri when it came out and S-Voice doesn’t offer any appeal. It is definitely some feature-matching against Apple, like when Apple feature-matched Android notifications, Apple also did a second rate job. In this case Samsung rush job on matching Siri is second rate. I will still be buying two S3’s though because they are the best phones on the market for now. Voice input is for “look-at-me” people. Actually I’m glad it sucks on S3, at least people won’t use it.

Hacking has gained two meanings over time. One is gaining of unauthorised entry and the other is modifying items to work in ways in which they were not intended.
Cracking is a subset of hacking and generally refers to bypassing DRM/copy protection mechanisms via modification to the protective code.
