In this case the best option will be the victor. Micro USB! These docks are competing against the parts that connect them to power outlets how will the win? These are just vanity object trying to solve a problem that has been solved. I can’t stand the fact that I will probably have to pay for tech that makes this possible when I buy a new phone. I would never waste my money buy one of these even if I had money just to waste.

Prices won’t help it’s something you might have because you have the money and You will use in your home but it’s really a waste. If someone can find some other item that these things can charge and actually solve a serious problem then we will be talking but it will never be a replacement for something that already exists for a much lower price. I saw one of these for a Nexus and it was made up of a USB adaptor, USB to Micro-B USB cable and the base for the charger. It took up more space on the desk and was supposed to be a better solution. Humans need to start having some sense.

This is what I mean. Is wireless really the solution? As far as I can tell physical contact is still required and the hardware costs more. It just looks like someone want to be relavent with an unnecessary product. There maybe consumers out there that don’t mind spending more and have something they don’t really need. The masses will prevail by that I mean a bunch of USB outlets around seating areas in a Starbucks will render this thing useless at least you can hold your phone and text. It’s cordless like a cordless kettle the advantage of the kettle being you can move the kettle far away from the base after the water has boiled or to fill it up. This just sounds cool but is completely unnecessary it doesn’t bring anything new to the table and might as well be wired since no phones are being charged with no physical contact.

I didn’t really think this was an issue anymore. Everyone I know who does’t use an iPhone has a phone that charges using a Micro-B USB connection. There’s always a charger available. I think the point here is this solves a problem with an existing solution for the sake of coming up with a new product.
