I got rid of my iPhone a month ago, in favor of a 3G tablet. People keep asking me “have you noticed any change?” my answer is “not really”. Because people rarely contact me via the phone anyway… The only real change is that I have less distracting ringing to ignore.

The “soap opera effect” is really only an issue with north American audiences, older audiences, or people who hate innovation on principal. The public will be educated, the stigma regarding FPS will fade.
