I would be very happy with a diskless, smallish device just for current 360 functionality – if it could communicate with my next box, allowing me to share the optical drive with it, since that would give me backwards compatibility with a smaller footprint than than having a next box and a full blown 360. Shared HDMI out in a situation like that could be great too. – basically let me have some way to choose to pay the $99 buck premium to keep backwards compatibility with my next box, because it’s worth $99 to me.
