ALO? QUEM FALA?
…
Weekly is nice, but I’m under the impression that doing the show monthly gave more time to better ideas and a better final product, which made it different from a “podcast”. It’s early to tell this, of course. I just hope the show will be good as the first ones.

Yay! Microsoft focusing resources on region-locked features that I will never be able to use!

Another region locked feature, very annoying.
I see the card showing the date I was looking for, but no option to set a reminder.
Not a fancy date, just a holiday, as these database are non-existent in my country.

iOS also has its problems with lags, especially after updating the OS. And it’s common to have apps crashing on your face if your device isn’t the newest.

It still is fragmented, at least by region/country. I haven’t received the newer Play Store yet.
But that region problem also affects iOS, so maybe it’s not that big deal. I really hate when new features depends on commercial rights (Play Music All Access) or local databases (Google Now, Siri, etc). It takes a lot of time to launch in other regions, or maybe never.

It’s prettier, but still far from the ideal music player.
I don’t like to keep comparing Android to iOS, but it’s inevitable. Google seems to be focused only on offering the online sync thing, while Apple aims to offer a better experience overall. Android does not even support podcasts natively, and the Play Music app stills doesn’t have an option to show lyrics. And I personally don’t like how the album artwork is zoomed. There’s a lot of negatives yet.
Gestures was a good inclusion.

I have a Nexus 4, and the problem are not with my fingers.
It was better before the “cards version”, bigger buttons, faster and easier to use.
Compared to the Apple App Store, they have small buttons, but more spaced.

It’s not the only problem, the articles are written for the north-american (USA <> America, btw) culture. Carriers problems, iMessage seeing to be more relevant than WhatsApp, etc.
That’s also a thing that won’t change, sadly.

Not really. Unless they made it more compatible with Microsoft Office, and if they care adapting them for other languages (not really Apple style).

The “open”, “buy”, “download”, “update” etc. buttons still are in the wrong size, too small.
It’s prettier than before, but not necessarily better.

Main problem stills the same, the horrible video player that loads the video very slowly. No one does better than YouTube, why resist?

It’s obvious, except for people in the US. WhatsApp is the most popular in almost every country in the world… except for the US.

The buy, download, update, remove etc. buttons are way too small.

Another thing I don’t like is not having an option to sync the volume of ringtone and media, making a universal volume control for every sound on the device (like iOS). It’s kinda embarrassing forgetting that you have silenced just the ringer while opening an app or a video.
There’s an app for solving that, but I still think the option needs to be bundled in the system.

We still don’t have a comprehensive and easy to use music player as the one on iOS. Things are getting better, though. Google Keep was an important step.
