As to your button layout-I don’t know about everyone else, but it’s just PERFECT for me, mainly because I’m a lefty.

About the N7 issue, wasn’t that post 4.1, though? Not defending anything, but it improved over time. In a month or so, it was pretty decent.

Again, that’s subjective. Go over to the army, and you’ll see people enamored by the N7’s design. Heck, even over here!
But on a more serious note, the N7 isn’t bad at all, compared to what Samsung’s been churning out for the past couple of years.

But even if you look at it from a benchmark point of view, several websites have rated the Nexus 4 below, on par or slightly better than the iPhone 5 (taken in terms of the average, equal to) in different aspects, despite the humongous RAM and higher clocked quad-core CPU. What does this say about the said topic?

Initially, I believed that port flaps looked good because of the gaping holes all of the pre-MicroUSB devices had.
But now that the port sizes have drastically diminished (MicroUSB, Lightning), I believe they just look like mere, plasticky afterthoughts to an otherwise brilliantly thought out and designed device.

I doubt it. Ever since the iPhone 3GS, Phil Schiler’s always been the main public face for Apple’s products. Jony Ive will definitely be seen in the procedure, but I’m pretty sure that once again, it’ll be in the designing process video.
