the 3GS doesn’t have an aluminum shell. That’s plastic.
Plastic was used for the body of the iPhone 3GS because “plastic” doesn’t interfere with the antennas of the phone.
Hence why there was a plastic “matte” like bottom to the original iPhone… that’s where the antenna(s) were housed.

FaceTime via 3G is obviously a great improvement… yet in the age of tiered data plans it’s completely contradicting to this “improvement” since video calling over a 2, 3, or 4 GB data plan will simply guzzle up your monthly allowance even faster.
Even on Sprint, where Unlimited Data plans are still offered, iPhone users who try to FaceTime over CDMA Rev. A networks are going to be highly disappointed due to it’s slow data connection.
I hardly use FaceTime, though with that said, if and when I do use it I’d rather it over WiFi since it’s clearer, faster and doesn’t use my data allowance.
I think if FaceTime is enabled to function under 3G networks it’ll either be a hit or miss;
but knowing Apple’s reputation I’m sure if it is a miss, it probably won’t damage that reputation with their consumers.

Hopefully Nokia sticks to the same form factors and design they used for the Nokia Lumia lines. Not only is the polycarbonate material superior and stellar but bringing about a cohesion to their smartphone portfolio would be a smart thing since consumers will eventually be able to differentiate Nokia for other manufacturers. They’ll also gain greater popularity in the U.S. more or less like the level they’ve reached in Europe.

Yeh I thought manufacturers were dying to get rid of physical & capacitive buttons lol.
Seems like Samsung thought they’d hit the G spot by trying to think outside the box for this design when in fact they stayed within the box.
Epic Fail.
I’m a fan of Android, I’m not a fan of Samsung and their cheap, non-original material. Don’t even get me started on the road-kill, not to mention bland, Samsung TouchWiz UI.
