Hay don’t hate on ics. That was one of the best Android updates of all time, since it was such a huge upgrade from gingerbread. Now that doesn’t mean that 4.1 and 4.2 are worse than 4.0. They are all great upgrades, I just find ics to be the most revolutionary.

Rise against is an awesome punk rock band. And dropkick Murphys is an awesome irish drinking song band.

But they all follow the holo guidelines. The fact that they look somewhat alike is what holo was meant to do: create a unified ui for android.

Hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder right? I love holo, but the ios apps you posted look really nice too. If you hate minimalism so much, I’m curious to what your opinion is on modern(metro) ui?

Less changes=faster updates. Chances are 5.0 would Change many things from 4.2. That makes it even harder for oems.

As much as I want android 5.0, this will be great for oems that have trouble updating devices to the latest version. And even though this is only a . 1 upgrade, Google will probably pack some awesome new features in it.
