Agreed, that was probably the only movie of his I enjoyed.

Wasn’t me, but it works out so nicely I’m not surprised people are doing the same. =]

I’m rooted on my Galaxy Nexus with JB Sourcery. I have Nova Launcher Prime as my launcher and I believe that lets you overlay, not the rooting. Could be wrong though.

Another thing you might want to consider is storage space. The HTC comes with 32GB default, as opposed to the 16GB in the GS4.

Sorry for the confusion, I meant the screen looks really readable in direct sunlight. I know my Galaxy Nexus doesn’t look like that when I’m trying to look at it outdoors.

This got me thinking…it would be awesome if Sony could create an Xperia/RX phone. The RX1/10/100 lineup is great and I really like the look of the Xperia Z.

I have no problem paying full price for a phone, but I’d want the monthly rates to be cheaper. That’s why I’m still considering T-Mobile when my contract with Verizon expires at the end of the year. I wish the Nexus 4 had wifi calling. Anyone know if the Samsung Galaxy S4 dev edition and/or the stock HTC One come with that feature?

Ugh me too…and I was so ready to leave them for T-Mobile. Probably still will, but this is one in the plus column for Verizon

How is the HTC One’s battery life compared with the Nexus 4? My wife has a Nexus 4 and easily gets through her day with battery to spare. And she’s always using it. I can’t get through a day anymore with my Galaxy Nexus.
Also, do you find that the One has enough megapxiels to take sharp images? I’ve seen some and it seems like 4 megapixels is just a little bit less than I’d want. A lot of the shots are a tad soft. The low light shots do look really nice though.

Exactly. This “fee” should be as well.

My wife just switched to T-Mobile earlier this year and the service has been much better than we imagined all throughout the Bay Area. We live in the South Bay and she’s gotten great reception everywhere. We’ve gone all throughout the Bay and it seems like her speeds are consistently faster than mine. The only time she’s had trouble is when we were in Yountville…and that was only the outskirts of it; the downtown area is fine. Anywhere she didn’t get reception, I didn’t really get any either on Verizon.

I haven’t followed games too closely so I didn’t recognize this from before…but while watching the trailer, I was thinking how creative and refreshing it would be if you played from the dog’s point of view the whole time. I do think that the guy playing the game looked kinda silly, but it seems like it could be a fun game with the new Kinect. Here’s hoping it works as well as they showed it.
Having never used a Kinect before, nor owning an XBox, how would one move around in a game like this? Would it be on rails or would you have to use the controller to move?

I find that when I want to open a link in Chrome, it takes 5-10 seconds before it starts to load. This is in the beta version, so it might be different for the stable version. Trying to type in a new URL, the keyboard takes another 5-10 seconds to pop up…not sure if that has to do with me using SwiftKey or not. I find the AOSP browser to be a much more pleasant experience, although there’s features in Chrome that I miss a lot.

That’s quite a broad generalization. I look at airbnb and vrbo first when traveling because it’s usually the most cost-effective solution when my wife and I want to travel. Most people that use those sites aren’t random idiots. And if you price out your place well enough, it kind of discourages the people you don’t want to be staying in your home anyways. I’m sorry you have such a negative outlook on people in general.
