No, he’s right.
AMD were moving in on the integrated GPU market – Intel naturally had to respond and had the resources to surge ahead.
While we may need to look back at Apple to trace the “ultrabook” – I refuse to believe any notion that it was Apple that forced Intel to step up their integrated graphics. That’s actually an insult to Intel and AMD engineers who worked on this for years.

Say what you will – but Microsoft aren’t the only ones that did this and Google are surprisingly leaving the rest alone. Don’t be evil right?

We still wouldn’t necessarily recommend buying one at that price, even with the sizable $150 discount it represents
Why the hell not? How quickly people forget there’s Office in there

I’ll be practical and say 1366×768 is still practical at 13.3". Don’t see why quality is determined by resolution

Then you haven’t been using smartphones much. I had smooth panaromas in my Nokia N82 YEARS AGO. My friend still has the original Nexus that does this too. Wake up. Teh size of the iPhone is great – but for a phone that is positioned as great for consumption… that 4" screen is getting smaller every year – they could at least make a version that’s a bigger brother then charge more for it etc. But right now a 4" iPhone with 5 rows of icons costs more or as much as the S4 where I live – ridiculous

If the protocol was inferior then Microsoft would need to wake up. But its not inferior and many people blindly call open standards as being superior simply because they’re open.

At the moment iOS is pretty secure, probably more secure than any other mobile OS on the market.
