This is absolutely true. Audio Hijack Pro for Mac (and I’m sure many similar programs for Windows) have been able to record audio coming out of any app for years. And a Spotify Premium 320kbps stream is a high enough bitrate that it’s not going to suffer much generation loss after being decoded and re-encoded.
