We all get the fact that these tiny European countries are pennies for terabytes of mobile data…
What people don’t seem to mention is the HUGE SIZE of the US. The amount of infrastructure required by every carrer to provide service where people exits is stunningly large vs. these tiny countries who have like 50 cell towers only (dramatic on purpose).
I am not defending the sheer ridiculousness of US mobile prices and metering (it sucks beyond belief) but I kind of do understand why we can’t get 20 gigs for $30…
InB4 “mobile data is very cheap.” It is, but the infrastructure to provide that data is not.

All I know is Google really needs to un-kill my Nexus Q. It’s a youtube paperweight right now and I’m not happy about it. So much potential in that computer.

See: Samsung Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus.
Ties, man. Ties.
Don’t even bring up the Nexus One. That was centuries ago and a one-time deal.

Hilarious that engineering and developing new products costs more than discounting aging tech.
Shocker, I know.

At this point, it’s about software. Yes, you can root and hope “XgaMeR69!” doesn’t bork the “chef cooked!” ROM, so I would personally just get the Google S4 and sleep soundly that shit works properly with fully baked, fully functional software.

And I’m sure not one Japanese shady character knows how to root and cease all shutter sounds. Useless. Creeps will be creeps, no matter the law, regulation or effort to stop them.

eBay’s iOS app update today enables you to take a picture of your driver’s license to instantly register.
Where’s the outcry for that? That’s creepy man.
If google did something like this, there would be anarchy in the streets. Flipped cars doused with gasoline and ignited by an angry mob anarchy!

It’s not a Tom Clancy book folks. It’s pretty archaic compared to the private sector, TBH.

Offloading my N4 as we speak. Will net down the S4 to ~$350 or so. Not bad, IMO.
Yes I’m aware I’ve already invested $275 on the N4 (craigslist) but I think in the “now.”

Haswell won’t cure cancer. It’s an expected spec bump, not much more. Just buy what you need, today.
It’s the most overhyped processor bump ever. The internet is going nuts with this one, saying “FIRE SALE” every time there is a currently available decently priced computer up for sale.
Haswell will be nice, but honestly folks…no need to claim you know for a fact that buying what’s available today is suicide (paraphrased before you bark at me). Lol, it will be just fine and Haswell will be a little bit better. The cycle of life for processor tech.

Lenovo, please PLEASE take note. 1366 is NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE (looking at you, X240 or whatever).

Lasted 5 hrs. Uninstalled. Maybe I’m too old for this Home thingy? Yeah. Real life won here. Fun for the children I guess.
