So it’s not just the right-wing nutjobs that don’t understand science. You’ve got a bunch of Pacific Northwest liberals who are just as ignorant.

Another article I read said that it’s not legal right now, but AT&T is violating the law in the hopes that it will get changed by the FCC soon.

I think it would be very easy to make all measurements change units based on which country you’re accessing the site from. That would be a good compromise.

They said they’re planning on integrating Voice in the future. I’m guessing this will also include SMS integration.

Yeah, I mostly like the Nexus 7’s bezel right now. I’d actually like a little more on the long sides, because they’re sometimes hard to hold when reading.

Because I’m sure aunt Susie and uncle Bill will love it when they can longer get the warnings over their TV before a tornado hits their home in rural Oklahoma.
You don’t need TV for that anymore. Get an app for your phone.

I’m afraid that stories like this one will lead a lot of young people to conclude that they can make a billion dollars from a photo sharing app too, instead of working on the real problems that need to be solved.

Yes, it would be easy. Try learning how to program, because you’re the one saying stupid things, not me.

Learn some basic arithmetic. If you sold it for $550, your net cost would be $225, not $250. Anyway, you’re missing the real point, which is that it is entirely possible to get an HTC One (without carrier modifications) directly from HTC while still taking advantage of carrier subsidies (which most people should do if they’re not on something like Straight Talk, where the monthly cost is lower if you bring your own phone).

No, you’re the stupid one. People also buy Android phones with unlocked bootloaders so they can customize them without carrier restrictions. By buying a phone for full price and then using it on AT&T, all you’re doing is paying twice for the phone, since you don’t get a lower contract rate for bringing your own unsubsidized phone, unlike on T-Mobile.

If you post on Craigslist, you can probably find someone local who will buy it in cash in person.

So what? How will that make any difference in terms of the cost to you? They can’t raise the plan price beyond the price you pay when the phone is subsidized.
