One thing that annoys me about this email iPad app as well as the Gmail iPad app is the fact that you cannot view the email in full screen like the native mail app. This is especially relevant on the iPad mini with the smaller screen. This is why I only use the native mail app because it supports this.

Agree. I also have a Galaxy Nexus that also lags, especially after the 4.2 JellyBean update. The battery life is abysmal. But other than that, I kinda like it. iPhone is too small and boring for me. But ios is great on a tablet which is why I have an iPad mini.
