LG had some great moments: The Prada Phone1 was useless but a Design Icon of its Time, thje chocolate was the archtipe for nice slider and the Viewty had camera features that are hard to find those days, the Arena maybe had the most hightech per sqaure millimeter… But then it became hard. They never really landed in the Android camp. There SW copies Sense and TouchWiz without reaching its class, the hardware takes the worst of Samsung, the support is below ZTE and Huawei (even in europe where opertor SW messing is not so present). Its sad to see them going down, ut the chinese will just wipe the floor with them

i had a nexus – screen is terrible: to dim, fuzzy small fonts, patterns, worng colors. I looked at several other to make sure it was not just a faulty one, but same here. Put it next to a One X. AMOLED has reached its limits

why not 720P at 4inch? Sure the PPI would be insane (367) but thats what we thought abiut retina as well. Now with 720P beeing standard at highend android apple cant jump shorter.

An alternative would be the ipad1/2 res of 1024×768 – still 4:3, still 320DPI Retina class and nice for App devs because they probably already support that res anyway. And as 768>720 they could call it Retina 768 or something to confuse people into thinking thats better than 720P just like they did with their “Quadcore GPU” BS
