I just saw some videos from wwdc dev session.
The typography kit and other UI kit blow me away. Now I’m more optimist with iOS7.
They still have hit/miss with the standard apps, but with such API and design concept, I makes me very excited

I think they have option to restrict or allow this background process per app. Can someone with iOS7 beta confirm this?

The texts in the lock screen is hard to read, lack of contrast. Did they really think of that when design the UI?

The new features and massive new API is interesting. What I really hate is the translucent and lack of contrast. It’s tiring for eyes.
They change their font color with backgrounds but it doesn’t work well with all background. If they put one more layer to add contrast to the text area will be great.
Too much unnecessary eyecandy (eg:paralax) will hurt battery life and add burden to older models

Add a plus sign didn’t hide your main account. Proper email alias like used by outlook.com is much better as you can remove it if it get spammed

I don’t understand why people like gmail apps. It’s just wrapper. Gmail itself gets more cluttered each year.

It is dumb proof (is it considered 2 reason? :D).

I just wish iOS 7 is highly optimized that 3GS can even run smoothly. That will be amazing updates!
Well, everyone can dream :) I like it when snow leopard is faster than leopard or mountain lion is faster than lion. Hope the same thing happen in iOS

Google sync is also a customization of EAS. This cause not all EAS featured works for gmail.
They say they’re open but what they actually do is try to lock you down to their ecosystem.
Google made it very easy to enter their ecosystem. They support all standard for import data. But may not work too well with export.
They try to become standard by absorbing as much user they can get instead of going through standard body.

It comes together when they integrate with skydrive. A pleasant surprise for me as well

It’s 400 MB in average. Correct me if I’m wrong
150 Peta bytes ~ 161061 million MB
161061/400 = 402 MB
And that’s quite a lot of emails
