That’s the thing, I don’t have a side, I didn’t care to mention what OS is installed on my phone… because I don’t think anyone should care. They don’t pay me to be an evangelist.. if they did though I would probably be as offensive/defensive as these guys.

I totally agree with your sentiments. People really get offended when their devices are criticized, then insult my intelligence on a subject that is subjective.

Hopefully they grow out of this mindset because there are more important issues in the world. I hope they have that same compassion towards something that actually makes a difference.. or not..

He had no task-killing apps. I know Android well, I had the first Android phone the first day it came out, and read up on it a year before that. I was also part of the first XDA-Dev community for Android.

This, at the very least, reflects Android’s lag induced reputation.

I was helping my brother with his 1 week old SGS3 and personally was appalled that such a powerhouse was having performance issues. I had to show him how to manually kill applications, and reboot the phone when the lag happens again.
