You are right on the money with that option. iOttie delivers. Now it isn’t plug and play, meaning it takes a bit of tinkering to adjust, but once it’s on that dashboard, it stays on.

Yeah I agree. I think the icons need to stay uniform while creating a consistent scheme with less gradients and shine.

Ok. I really like this

Now that I think of it – I’m not sure if by “Flat” they mean the rounded corners for the app icons as well. I think losing the rounded corners would be too stark. They should just lower the radius a bit.

It would be interesting if someone used the Reminders, Passbook, and Podcasts apps as a jumping off point into designing the rest of the core apps. I think that would be a little more realistic.
