1. i would guess by this statement you are not a web developer
2. your statement implies that javascript ui’s are unnecessary. i bet you also think jquery is unnecessary and worthless..
3. why do they need to “create anything that needs it” ? you do realize that the web is everywhere, and every device already runs the web. again, i’d just take a random guess you’re not a developer by these statements
4. hp’s 20,000 position layoff had nothing to do with webos whatsoever. get your facts straight.

Google also has a lot more talent and a lot more money than HP, and is an entirely different company. Patience, grasshopper.

the enyo group is still on HP payroll, and they will continue to be. the previous enyo team members that left HP and are now at Google may or may not continue working with enyo. my guess would be they’re going to be making android more web friendly.
