It also completely alienates those who have used the system since the first iPhone.
Ive has stressed that his iOS 7 design won’t alienate users of the past iterations. I honestly think we’ll see little marks here or there, but not a complete visual overhaul (that example is more in line with Windows Phone)

Cause I don’t want to pay for Spotify premium. $9.99 a month doesn’t justify the amount of music I end up purchasing.

Not necessarily. I use streaming services to gauge my interest in a particular album or song, and then purchase it for offline listening when I travel.

I’m sorry. I was in a bad mood when I posted my original comment.
You are correct.

It will probably still be $100-$150 more than the current 360

That’s cool you can have all of those systems. Unless the One comes in priced below the current 360, I’ll have to sell my 360 to offset the cost of the new system.

I will until I get the red ring of death… which will, as my luck would have it, probably happen the day the One goes on sale.. haha

Game systems and games are expensive!
If I’m paying out 400 dollars on a newer video game system I’d want it to work with the games I’ve got instead of re-upping every title for an additional 60 bucks.

Can someone please explain to me how this is better for the end user, who now has a stack of 360 games that are worthless should they go solely with the Xbox One as a gaming console?
I’m serious so please don’t call me names or anything. I am genuinely curious as to how this benefits everyone.

Or they won’t buy one. I’m fine with my 360 and it will have to do. I was looking forward to all the new features but it seems they’ve debuted a cable box instead of a gaming console.
