Agreed with the rule of thirds advice, i would also add that dont always look at objects from the view people would normally see them, catch them off guard by taking a step back moving left and right possibly even looking down or looking up to see if a shot works from elsewhere, the shot above proves that. Keep submitting on here though, theres good advice every week.

HTC wont go anywhere anytime soon. And as a last resort (which will be highly unlikely) this phone is so much easier to root/flash rom’s than my One X. CM10.1 on this hardware is just perfect.

I’m not going to lie i never even noticed the dust, the annoying thing was i took my lens pen to the glass before, thats another thing to add to the editing checklist.
She was sitting in a comfy box with holes in the sides so the fluff in the top corner is just the side of the box but i liked it and didn’t think it was to distracting

I am trying to find myself some options for shots like these, as much as i like the train I do like the lines from the lights

I love mountains regardless so this shot was always going to be a win for me, well done.

I’d love to know how you set up this shot also, it really is great.

Trying to get a good shot of this cat has been a nightmare, she is pure black and is more often than not indoors so lighting along with her never staying put is a nightmare. This was the first decent shot i got with the new 50mm lens and I am quite happy with it, but critique away anyway.

Since people seem to hate this, first time I’ve seen such a harsh description, this is what it looks like with out the editing.

With all due respect Michael this is a critique thread, if you didn’t like the photo thats fine but to say that its terrible is hardly constructive and tbh no way helps a person with their hobby.
