Don't mind the picture, I'm sure it'll be just as fake and deceiving as every other one. As you can probably tell by now I'm a bit sarcastic. I love a good movie. And, of course, I really love technology.

… I’m actually pretty sure that the only reason google bought Motorola is to get Apple and Microsoft off their backs about patents. The Motorola patent portfolio is unreal.
As for charging for android, well to be honest I don’t like the idea either, but it might force quality content. (Probably not.) If they had started with this idea, then they would be called insane, but since they have a massive market share it seems like the people who already develop android will be forced to put more effort into the software. There’s just one problem, they would get their pants sued off and it really brings up so many other issues that I don’t even want to begin to list them, while this may solve one problem I think that this option really just poses more problems than solutions.

To me it seems like Android is no longer one set platform, but is instead a different platform for each hardware company. Android as I see it, is what comes from the Nexus Program, while all other “skins” of android are their own operating system at this point. Touchwiz is not Android. It’s samsung’s own operating system that also has google features. The same is not necessarily the same for HTC, but they used to be that way. My problem is the the experience that Samsung and Amazon provide for a “fork”, as many of you have put it, is abysmal. It’s painful for me to use Touchwiz and calling the Fire a functional Android Tablet is just laughable. I don’t mind if Sammy, or any OEM for that matter, forks, but it needs to be a software experience that isn’t shit, which doesn’t really exist right now.

I’ll give you a proof…
Time=money
Time=large ammount.
Therefore you spent a lot of money on this option!
Don’t you love how easily proofs can be corrupted. :)

This data plan is like being told that your tv got smashed to pieces, then finding out that it was really your phone that got smashed instead. Something of yours is still getting destroyed, and it is still important to you, but it’s not as bad as you though.

So, in response the vitriolic nature of the discussion below I would like to say that I wanted to love the magic mouse when it came out. I loved the features that it provides. The multitouch is amazing, the features that it packs are fantastic, but I just can’t stand using it. At all. I hate having to use it on my dad’s computer because I constantly hesitate due to that fact that I can never get comfortable with the device. My opinion is that if you are going to bring multitouch to a desktop environment, then you have to put it on the screen, where it was meant to be. Not on a peripheral. They just don’t mix very well, even with the help of Apple’s fantastic hardware design team. I don’t mind having multitouch, but the fact that you have to make a device painful to use in order to get certain features in not just a pain, but it’s against the very foundation of Apple’s software ideology. Their goal was to make it easy for the consumer to use, rather than having the consumer do the work to be able to understand or even be functional in everyday use. I love the idea of multitouch and all the things it add, just not at the cost of hand cramps after long periods of video editing.
