And really, the plastic isn’t a problem, it’s what Samsung has done with it: make is slick and cheap-looking with faux aluminum trim.

My brain doesn’t understand the Youtube comment format. I like this format better. Threaded and up-rating only.

I used to live on an island with earthquakes, hurricanes, tropical weather. My net was never that great — it was actually crap, but it would be on 50% of the time. That’s St Thomas, USVI. I would actually tether quite often to get online. So where do you live that your net is more crappy than that? Sometimes, I couldn’t even get Steam into offline mode.
Ubuntu with Steam? Enjoy your Valve and indie games, I guess. Continue to be paranoid.
Now that I’m on the mainland USA — NYC — my net has never been off for the years I’ve been here.

Guess what, if you have a PC with Windows or OSX, you most likely don’t own any of the software – games included – either.

You know, that they charge for bags sucks, but I feel like if it’s a weapon, it shouldn’t be on board. If you look at how they deal with guns, they’re checked in. I’d like to ask you why do you need to bring a knife with you? No sarcasm, honest question.

Are we talking about stairwells and showers? Yes you have a better chance of dying driving to the airport or slipping and falling, but is it necessary to have a knife on plane? What are you going to do on a plane with your knife? Why not check it in with your bags? O.o Are you going to carve some figurines?
I’m not even sure what you meant with your first sentence…

Can you jump out of a jet? Can it stop within moments? Sure the same thing could happen on a bus or train.

Flight attendants, senators, didn’t want it. Do you realize that though the cockpit is locked everyone on board is not locked into their own bubble..? Someone could stab you right in the neck and you’d die. That doesn’t take a big knife to do. You sound like you never bothered to use your imagination. Sure someone could kill you with their bare hands, but why make it easier?

No, the people wanted this. People were fearful of this change because of, well, 9/11.

What if they update it sooner rather than later after the sale ends? It’d probably go on sale again, but man, it seems rare to catch it on sale. If this game was on Android, I’d get it even if it had some issues.

The reviews, the fact that it is an HDTV, the reviews, the unknown (to me) name and the price make it far less appealing.
