Actually no. Even I thought that way initially, but since have had a change of heart. The way feedly, reeder, caffeinated, press and others have responded, it appears all google did was not innovate on the RSS reader front. All google could do is open source the APIs (But hey, they don’t owe that do they?). However, I believe the feedly team is busy reverse-engineering them and possibly making them better?
