isnt this supposed to be a tech site for people who like tech and want to talk about tech? what happened to all the geeks who didnt care about how well this plays with a general audience? what ever happened to actually thinking about how YOU would use the tech?
i have a better question for you. what would you spend on google glass? i would spend as much as my cell phone on it, if it was unlocked and unrestricted to tinker: ~$600
you are right geoken, they are not as powerful as their android counterparts and fail on many levels of ease of use. they do look pretty tho. the fact that there is a huge animation when you shuttle to another google app makes the experience feel slow and silly. In android for example, you can turn off all those fancy animations and get straight to your data, making it feel as if it is all one app.
I am glad that google doesn’t care what platform it is on. I wish fans of both would just get over this back and forth. Both platforms have their strengths and weaknesses.
