The difference is that these are all multifaceted talent levels in these artists. Kanye only raps. If you want to include production, these artists do that as well in addition to playing multiple instruments and being talented lyricists. If you think this is the same then you have never tried to learn even one instrument let alone several.

It also doesn’t help that he is an arrogant jackass who doesn’t deserve a dime of your money for this reason alone.

If it is so incredibly easy to produce beats for songs, why aren’t you cashing in on this apparently little known secret and making millions?

You have to be kidding me right? So by your logic, popularity automatically equals the best. I guess that douchebag Beiber is a musical genius too then eh? In one single statement you basically just said that all of the indie hip hop artists possess less talent than Kanye. This is incredibly ignorant. Not everyone has the resources to show their music to the world the way he does. I am willing to bet their are thousands that, if heard by the right people, could be considered more talented.

This wasn’t a slam on Hip Hop as a genre, but to call a guy a genius because he can rap and produce is ludicrous. I was more presenting based on technical talent, to which the guy has lyrically but that is it.

In my opinion, a musical genius is somebody who possesses a natural talent for music in all forms. I would put a guy like Dave Grohl far above this guy. He was regarded as one of the best drummers of his time with Nirvana, an amazing guitar player, and lyricist. Kanye can’t touch that.

Wow this is dumb. God forbid they try to make any money off their platform. Does the EU not get the fact that they are spending millions developing a platform that is given away for free? Of course they want their services front and center, what other incentive would they have to develop it?

This is like them going after Apple for preloading iCloud and iTunes on iOS devices. The ironic part is that would make more sense, given that you can’t use alternatives in the same way. The other irony is that Google and android are the only ones that actually let you replace default services on your device. Nokia, who is exclusively windows phone does not allow users to use anything other than Bing for core search. Talk about hypocrisy.

Hey Nokia, maybe instead of crying to the teacher that the other kid is more popular, you go make some friends.
