I like the way you captured that moment of the skater in the air, good job. I’m not great at PP, but I’d try to bring down the highlights some to bring out more detail in the ramp and up the saturation a tiny bit to make the sky pop some more.

Nice! I too thought of a rocket engine. I like the symmetry. Now I really want to know what it is exactly. Great capture.

Like the processing on this, and shows you can get great images from any camera really.

Better with the straightened horizon. Nice capture, the crashing wave has a real dynamic feel to it. I can almost hear the water.

really like the framing in this

Very nice, love the transition in the sky

I don’t know what kind of prices the 3 & 5 go for on eBay, or when you plan to buy, but you can get the F3 new for $380 or the 3N new for $450 until about the end of June

I use a 5N and previously used a 5. I find that the 3’s are actually a little bit bigger and the grip isn’t as deep. They aren’t as nice to handle to me as the 5’s are. The 5 has a IR port and you can use a remote with it, which you can’t do with the 3.
I’d recommend the 5 over the 3, and if you can afford it, I’d recommend the 5N over either of them. The 5N has better high ISO and the auto ISO will go to 3200 instead of 1600 (it’s not a big difference in quality), plus the shutter will go to 1/60 before raising ISO where the 5 goes all the way down to 1/30. The 5N also has more controls for video, you can actual set your settings now.

This is really nice, good processing. Like this a lot.

Thanks for the feedback. I see it now. I was mainly focusing on the grill when processing and let the other parts of the photo get too dark.
Barrett-Jackson is fun, but living in AZ I go most years and it’s less exciting when you see the same cars over and over again. I love C1 Corvettes, but after walking around for a couple hours and seeing 20 of them, they just lose something.

I find this very interesting. I’d also like too see the front railing cropped out, but I like the rest

Very dramatic, love the symmetry. A really nice job.

I like the sense of movement of the train, the patterns on the ceiling are interesting as well.. I wonder if you could have changed positions or shot in the opposite direction to avoid having the cone in the shot, but I’m sure you were limited on how much time you had since the train was moving.

Very cool

This is fantastic. The latticework of lines, the reflection, and the flag pull it all together. I wouldn’t have minded seeing a little more of the sky at the top
