I bought the Panda expansion and stopped playing the day it went live, not even logging into my account. I have since loaded it up and was very suprised at how much Bliz packed into Pandaria. Its hugely polished and looks amazing. The questing/lvling grind has been as good as BC and I have been told its the best raid content since BC (not first hand experience). I have enjoyed it a lot so far and I absolutely did not expect to.

I followed a link off FB the other day to the mobile youtube site. The video would play for 3 secs and then stop. Tried several times. Closed that crap. Opened Metro Tube, searched for the movie in the link – boom – played no problems.
Thats why.

No I was just citing fact as reported by much of the words media. I dont use Android/Google anything. I have nothing against the Android OS other than the people who think, like Linux users, that is going to be the wonderful end of Microsoft. What I hate is the hardware that runs it and I guess the stupid names they give their updates. But honestly, at the end of the day, I CNGAF which multibillion dollar companies phone you use.

There is some more fun for you.
Not sure what you mean by the WP bit … there is no malware on WP8.

No he doesnt have a point, he has a broad statement that isnt backed up by fact or any indication of his personal user experience with WP8 that can substantiate what he has said. The kind of BS that plagues this board actually.
My own personal experience with Google Maps vs Nokia maps … well lets just say I have not yet had to call someone to tell them Nokia just f%#ked me by sending me to the wrong place. Nokia maps has been a revelation and enormously accurate in remote(ish) parts of Western Australia.
And instagram are making their own app. Its been what, 6 months. Big woop.
I get that he may be referring to people who try to replicate some apps in the store but I am personally using legit versions of all the apps I need – SMH, Time, Register, Dropbox, Skype, Crackle, Vimeo, Pro Shot, Photosynth, Metro Tube (better than Youtube), AU Weather Pro, WP central, SBS on demand, Pandora, Soundhound, Podcatcher and a few other bits and bobs like a Torch, Timer, Remote Access and PDF reader. Guess what, they all rock. The only app I used on iOS I dont have is Kaching from my bank, but their mobile web version is absolutely fine.
The good part of all this is that 80% of my apps didnt have malware, most of them were free, they all run fast and look great (WP Central, SBS on demand, Metro Tube). Oh … and the hardware that I run all this on is a crafted thing of beauty, not a plastic looking flimsy piece of crap from an unscrupulous company like Samsung. Go me!

I would still be interested to know if the Androids are returned because the hardware is garbage or that people dont like the OS. Again, if its OS hate then fine, choice is a beautiful thing. It feels like Android is going through what MS is trying to combat – companies given software to run bargain basement devices built to a cost, not a standard. The HTC One feels ok and is a step in the right direction, but the Samsung stuff is just awful. I get why people say Nokia should make an android phone simply because android users deserve a decent bit of hardware with some actual build quality. I wouldnt begrudge anyone that.

Have you read any of the Scroogled ads? Do you feel there is anything you should be concerned about or that the information in them false? Are they negative for the sake of being mean or misleading, or are they negative because they highlight practices by google that some would deem untrustworthy? Like, Europe for example.

I dont know many people with iPhone 5’s but my mum and sister returned theirs simply due to problems making/taking calls. One of my friends has one and Apple refuse to acknowledge the problem with his and wont let him return it, but talking to him on it is horrible. Personally this is a bigger deal breaker for me than missing an app or grappling with an interface.
